M-R Completed Numerous School Improvements This Summer

Improvements were made at several Monmouth-Roseville School District facilities recently, according to Monmouth-Roseville Superintendent Ed Fletcher.

The improvements include remodeling of the Family Consumer Science classroom and Library Media Center at Monmouth-Roseville High School, air conditioning units at Lincoln Elementary School and the High School gym, new lights at Sunny Lane Field, and a security vestibule at Monmouth Roseville Junior High.

The next improvement will be a security vestibule at the High School, which Fletcher states will be a great addition:

“Being able to work with our police department has been a tremendous asset to help guide us. I’m not an expert on this. Working with Sergeant Bratcher, Chief Switzer, everyone a City Hall, their support to work with us and help guide is with the improvements. I think we have a system that is second to none for schools throughout most of Illinois. I think we have a really good system set up,” Fletcher reports.

Monmouth-Roseville’s 2019-2020 school years kicks off on Wednesday August 21st.
