M-R School District Approve Tentative Budget

Share

Monmouth-Roseville School District approved a tentative budget at their latest school board meeting.

The budget is balanced for the third consecutive year due to increased evidence-based funding from the State of Illinois.

Despite the increase, Superintendent Ed Fletcher says the School District must continue to spend responsibly:

“We still have to be efficient with our money, not be spend-thrift with it, but also provide supports for the students and teachers in order to help them to educate the students, and focus on the growth of students over time.”

Monmouth-Roseville is considered a tier one school.
