Security Savings Bank’s Jenks to Retire: Brad Ray to be named New CEO

Share

Security Savings Bank CEO and President as well as Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year recipient Stan Jenks will be retiring in November after a 44-year career. Brad Ray has been elected by the board as the new President.

Jenks explains the transition.

“I’ll still be at the bank until the end of November, so looking forward to Brad at that point. Brad is President now, just for clarification. I am CEO. And then at the bank’s annual meeting in November, Brad will be appointed CEO and also become a member of the board at time.”

An open house is scheduled for Thursday, August 22nd from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. to meet Ray.

Ray says he’s been fortunate to work in banking the past 25 years.

“I’ve been in the area all my adult life, since getting back from college. I grew up in Henderson County and was in banking in town for 25 years, and then I stepped away. I still lived in town but worked at home for three-and-a-half years.

So, it’s good to be back in the office setting and in the community, and learning how to put on a suit in the morning.”
