Warren County YMCA Is Preparing for Dancing For Dreams

The Warren County YMCA is hosting the 12th annual event, ‘Dancing For Dreams’.

The event is being held on Saturday, September 21st. Doors open at 5 pm, and the event starts at 6 pm. ‘Dancing for Dreams’ is hosted at Crossing Church in Monmouth.

Tickets for the event are $30, with proceeds going to the ‘Healthy Kids Campaign’, a program that aids low-income families in affording YMCA memberships and after-school programs. The event is one of the YMCA’s largest yearly fundraisers.

The event includes a variety of dance routines performed by Warren County locals, with this year’s theme being Boy Bands and ‘Girl Groups’.

When asked about this year’s performers, Lorna Cox, dancing instructor, revealed the list of performers.

“We have seven different stars this year, we have Michelle Murphy, Donna Bradford, Paula Olson, Jackie Spence, Casey Rexroat, Javier Reyes, and Randy Frakes.”
