Betty Lehne, 81, of Galesburg, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 12:10 a.m. on August 29, 2019, at Seminary Manor.
Betty was born in Chillicothe, IL on January 5, 1938, to William Taylor and Martha Lena (Heacock) Karrick. She grew up in central Illinois and attended Williamsfield High School. Betty had a great love for horses and spent many hours riding in her younger years. Betty retired from Maytag in 2008 after 30 years of service. She loved her family and spending with them was her top priority. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, and crafts. Betty was a member of the Cameron Red Hat Club for several years and enjoyed their lunches together. She also enjoyed her gatherings with her Maytag ladies. Betty attended Windsor Road Christian Church. She was always a friendly face and eager to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Betty married Richard Lehne on July 12, 1994 in Urbana, IL at Webber Street Church. They enjoyed many years together and loved traveling and spending time outdoors on the back patio.
Betty is survived by her four children, daughters: Debbie Yi of Clovis, NM, Teresa (Mike) Palmer,
and Cheryl (Shane) Street of Tolono, IL and son: Robert Jones of Tolono, IL; her five grand-
children: Jason Denney, Anthony (Danielle) Denney, Jessica Yi, Anthony (Jade) Street, and
Courtney (Brock) McGraw; her great grandchildren: James and John Martin, Miranda and Mia Denney, Bryson, Ashlyn, Emma and Isabelle Denney, Parker Yi, Jonas Smith, Grayson and Garrett Street, Charlotte, Leonidas, and Samson McGraw. She is also survived by her siblings:
Jerald Karrick of Middleburg, OH, Dorothy (David) Armstrong of Janesville, WI, Eleanor Nelson of Ellisville, IL, Raymond (Edna) Karrick of Williamsfield, IL, Kay Bigsby of Bowling Green, OH, Nancy (John) Umbeck of West Lafayette, IN, and Patrick (Cathy) of Rochelle, IL; her brother-in-law, Bob Newtson of Peoria, IL and sisters-in-law, Cora Karrick of Williamsfield, IL, Gayla Karrick of Dahinda, IL, and Helen Rupert of Galesburg, IL, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lehne; her parents; and siblings: Vicki Pusateri, William Karrick, Jeanie Dawson, Dan Karrick, Doris Newtson, and Steve Karrick.
Brothers-in-laws: Richard Pusateri, Jean Dawson, Charlie Bigsby, James Nelson, and Robert Rupert, and sisters-in-law: Margie Butler, Rosemary Petersen and JoAnn Rupert.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Watson Thomas Funeral Home on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to services at
1:30 p.m. All are invited to join the family for a light dinner at the American Legion Hall,
222, IL Hwy 180, Williamsfield, IL immediately following the service. Memorials are suggested to OSF Hospice, 3405 N. Seminary, Galesburg, IL 61401. Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com.
