The United Red Storm girls golf team improved to (6-0) in dual meets with a 191-252 victory over Sherrard at Saukie Golf Course. The meet was actually a triangular meet with Rock Island also taking part but the Rocks did not have enough players to field a full scoring team. Paige McKeown led United with a 46. Emily Grodjesk and Haley Marshall chipped in with a pair of 48’s and Claire Carnes also scored with a 49.
The Monmouth-Roseville boys golf team was edged out by Alleman 165-181 at Gibson Woods Golf Course in Monmouth. Blake Cunningham was the low scorer for Monmouth-Roseville with a 43.
The Macomb Bomber girls beat both Quincy Notre Dame and Canton at Gold Hills Golf Club in Macomb. The Bombers posted a team record score of 161, led by meet medalist Emma Thorman’s 1-over par 36.
The Macomb Bomber boys were also victorious, besting Mercer County 160-212 on senior night at the Macomb Country Club. The Bomber boys were led by Blaine Sutton’s meet medalist score of 38.
Also, the Knoxville boys lost to Mid-County 169-185. Titus Cramer led Knoxville with a 44, while meet medalist Trey Rogers led Mid-County with a 39
Macomb beat Jacksonville 2-0 on the new artificial turf field in Macomb.
