Running the three-mile course at Peoria’s Detweiller Park, the Scots’ women turned in four honor roll times for that course and distance. Caroline Young crossed in 18:52.1 – just seconds off the program record – to place 37th in the field of more than 200 runners. Arika Hofmann was 15 seconds behind, in 46h place, with a 19:07.3. Ezzie Baltierra-Chavez (19:32.3) and Mik Moore (19:47.0) rounded out the Scots’ course HR times in 63rd and 70th positions.

The men raced the 8K course where Griff Morrill placed 28th with a Monmouth honor roll time for the Detweiller layout of 27:01.0. Riley Dulin was just over 30 seconds off Morrill’s time, clocking a 27:32.7 for a 45th-place finish. The rest of the Scots’ scoring field was spread out with Shay Hafner’s 29:02.0 leading the way, finishing 80th. Alex Urbina (29:33.3), Tanner Heiple (29:42.9), C.J. Bonifer (30:01.8) and Mike Bersell (31:03.08) completed Monmouth’s top seven. Carlos Miranda and Gavin Conway were just 20 seconds off scoring runs, clocking a 31:21.8 and 31:23.9, respectively.
