Oakley Eugene Quinn, infant son of Shylynn Nichole Cain and Caleb Michael Quinn-Powell, was born still Friday, September 6, 2019.

He is survived by his parents of Galesburg, maternal grandfather Michael Cain of Galesburg, paternal grandparents Tara Quinn-Powell and David Powell of Galesburg, two aunts Felisha Quinn of Galesburg, and Audrionna Quinn-Powell of Galesburg, and four uncles Benjamin (Sylvia) Harting of Sterling, Illinois, Tommy Cain of Rock Falls, Illinois, Christopher Cain of Rock Falls, Illinois, and Brindle Cain of Galesburg, several cousins including Gabriella Quinn, and his Godmother Jashia Johnson of Galesburg. Also surviving are great grandparents Bonnie (Larry) Fisher of Princeton, Illinois, Dollie Williams, Leonard Miller, Linda “Susie” Quinn, and Cindy Good all of Galesburg; great aunts Christina (Barron) Hadley of Princeton, Illinois and Sherry Osborne of Galesburg, great uncles Tony (Jessica) Quinn of Galesburg and Thomas Cain of Princeton, and second cousins August Powell of Rock Falls, Illinois, Courteny Hadley and Barron Hadley Jr. of Princeton, Illinois.

He is preceded in death by his paternal great grandfather, Delmar “Gene” Quinn and one great uncle Larry Osborne.

Cremation will be accorded. A memorial service for Oakley will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 23, 2019 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, Galesburg Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Chaplain Jordan Knight will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the family.
