This Month’s Galesburg Chamber of Commerce Events

Share

The Galesburg Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for a busy month, with a wide variety of public events to be hosted in the Galesburg area.

Events include the ‘Young Professionals Networking Meeting’, hosted at the Knox County Brewing Co. tonight at 5:30 pm. Adult professionals looking to bolster their resume and LinkedIn are encouraged to attend the event.

The Chamber of Commerce is also hosting their monthly ‘Business After Hours’ for Carl Sandburg College on Thursday, September 26 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

The Chamber of Commerce will also be hosting a Legislative Luncheon at Knox College on Thursday October 3rd at 11:30 am. The event will include guest speakers such as Illinois senators Chuck Weaver and Jil Tracy as well as Illinois representatives Dan Swanson and Norine Hammond. Tickets start at $25 for chamber members and $35 for new guests.

Kelsey Litchfield, Marketing and Member Engagement Manager at the Galesburg Chamber of Commerce, goes into the details of the event…

“I imagine they’ll probably talk about the minimum wage, I know people have definitely been having questions about that. That’s the beauty of the event, audience members, they can come with prepared questions affecting their business themselves, and they can ask them directly. So if you have an impact that you’re wanting to speak with your state legislator about, this would be a great event to do that.
