On Saturday November 2nd, the First United Methodist Church will be hosting a special evening, ‘Christ Our Cornerstone,’ to give thanks to the church body and leadership, and look forward into the growth of their church in the coming years. Joy Boostrom highlights the evening’s events that will take place:

“We are going to do sort of an old fashioned hymn sing. Our organist and pianist will be playing. Then we are going to transition into our praise band and then play some more of the contemporary music again. Our church choir is going to sing. Our Grace Place kids, which is our Sunday School that’s run by Chris Moore, they are singing a special song for us. It’s just going to be a really nice night. We are going to offer communion. It’s just going to be a really nice celebration,” shares Boostrom.

The church will be celebrating the past, present, and future during the event as they are working to build a new sanctuary.
