2 Arrested in Ongoing Drug Investigation

On Wednesday, October 9th, 2019 at approximately 12:37 pm, the Galesburg Police Department, with assistance from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, responded to the 1500 block of East North Street in reference to an ongoing drug investigation. As a result of this operation, 28 year old Nicholas M. Hennenfent was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Heroin with Intent to deliver, and two Knox County Arrest Warrants for Delivery of Methamphetamine. Each warrant carries a bond of $100,000 with 10% required to be posted. Bond has not yet been set for the charges stemming from this arrest.

Also arrested was 19 year old Breona M. Harris. Harris was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia as well as warrants out of Knox County, Warren County, and Henderson County.

As a result of this arrest, Officers seized just over a quarter pound (133.6g) of Methamphetamine having an approximate street value of $13,000, as well as 7.6g of Heroin having an approximate street value of $750.
