Jamieson Center Oktoberfest Fundraiser

Share

The Monmouth Rotary Club, in partnership with Jamieson Community Center, are hosting Oktoberfest Saturday, October 12th starting at four pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Monmouth.

The event is being held to raise funds for Weekend Meals, a program designed to serve food every Saturday and Sunday for children enduring food insecurity. 115 tickets have been sold.

Former Rotary President Ryan Painter tells us what to expect from the traditional German festival:

“There will be alcohol involved. The main focus is still going to be on the children and raising this money, but it will make it fun. Always historically the event has been more of a formal sit down type dinner, and we will still have tables and a sit down dinner,” Painter states.

Jamieson Center will be preparing the food, including brats, loins in mustard sauce, German potatoes.
