Liam Michael Leary, age 11, of Monmouth, Illinois, passed away at 3:56
P.M. on Monday, October 14, 2019 at his residence in Monmouth. He was
born on August 3, 2008 in Leesville, Louisiana. Liam was a 5th grade
student at Immaculate Conception Church in Monmouth. Liam enjoyed
basketball, learning to play the flute, playing with Lego’s, and binge
watching his favorite shows; Chicago PD, NCIS, and Hawaii Five-O. He
also enjoyed watching YouTube videos and playing on-line games with his
best friend Cade. Liam loved to visit the Lake of the Ozarks with his
family, laugh and joke, and eat hot dogs with peanut butter. Liam was
mischievous, leaving stuff at his aunt Lisa’s house so that he could
return and jump on the trampoline. He will be missed by his loving
family and many friends.

Liam is survived by his parents Michelle and Bob Jones of Monmouth,
Illinois, one sister, Caitlynn Jones of Monmouth, Illinois, two
brothers; Ryan Leary of Monmouth, Illinois and Dakota Hunter of
Kankakee, Illinois, grandparents; Percy and Ella Hall of Monmouth,
Illinois, Gary and Diana Jones of Monmouth, Illinois, and
great-grandmother Beth McCoy of Roseville, Illinois. He is also survived
by aunts and uncles; Danny and Tiffany Osborn of Little York, Illinois,
Casey and Krystal Jones of Roseville, Illinois, and Lisa and Steve
Fenton of Burlington, Iowa. Numerous other relatives also survive. He is
preceded in death by his uncle, Tom Jones.

A visitation will be held for Liam Leary from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on
Thursday, October 17, 2019 in the gym of Immaculate Conception School,
Monmouth, Illinois. Short remarks will conclude the service at 7:00. A
memorial fund is being established and will be named at a later date.
