Mrs. Lois Arnold, left this earth Sunday morning, October 6, 2019, at the home of her daughter where she has lived since moving to Ohio in 2014. Lois was born on April 29, 1927, in Overton County, Tennessee, the daughter of Ulice and Nannie Carr Qualls.

She was psychiatric RN who retired from the state of Illinois. Lois went on many medical nursing missions to third world countries. She enjoyed cooking, travel, “going out to lunch”, shopping, stamp collecting, making lap quilts that she donated to Akron women and children’s center, and reading.

Lois will be deeply missed by her daughter, Patricia (David) Cooper of Garrettsville, Ohio, a daughter-in-law Marsha Arnold of Galesburg, Illinois, a granddaughter Dru (Kurt) Pausch, of Hiram, Ohio, a grandson Cory Arnold, of Galesburg, Illinois, and two great-grandsons, Cooper and Samuel Pausch of Hiram, Ohio.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Arnold, her son Robert N. Arnold, one brother, and two sisters.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Saturday, October 12, 2019, from 9am to 11am at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Home 1070 West Fremont St, Galesburg, Illinois. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 with Pastor Robert Pendleton officiating. Burial will follow at East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg, Illinois.
