Scots’ Francois Claims First MWC Performer of the Week Honor

MONMOUTH, IL (09/30/2019) Monmouth College rookie Henderson Francois (Naples, Fla./Lely) made quite a statement Saturday and earned the Midwest Conference Football Offensive Performer of the Week award for his efforts.

Francois made his home debut a memorable one, scoring three touchdowns in the first quarter of Monmouth’s 34-14 win over St. Norbert. The freshman running back gave the Scots a 10-0 lead on a 25-yard TD run midway through the first quarter and added an eight-yard score on the Scots’ next possession. His highlight reel then included a 78-yard TD reception for the Scots final score in the first quarter, giving Monmouth a 31-7 lead. Francois finished with 141 all-purpose yards.
