Senior Night for the Heat

Share

The West Central Heat football team is looking to end the run of the 7 and 0 Annawan/Wethersfield team this Friday night. Head Coach Jason Kirby has his game plan ready to get the job done:

“Limit their explosive plays; make them drive the ball down the field. Don’t give them the opportunity to have a 40 yard or 50 yard touchdown play. Make them have the 10 or 12 yard plays and keep the explosive plays to a minimum. Tackle well and don’t turn the ball over when we are running it, and get first downs. If we can get the first down and protect the football as we have and get an occasional explosive play, and eliminate their ability to do that, we will be in it for four quarters like last year,” Kirby states.

With this Friday being the last regular season home game, the Heat will honor their three seniors before taking the field at 7 pm.
