William “Bill” McNeely

William “Bill” McNeely, 100, passed away Friday, October 18, 2019, 11:15 a.m. at his home.  He was born Saturday, March 29, 1919, in Scotland County, MO the son of Harrison and Cleo (Howard) McNeely.  He married Helen Dickason on October 29, 1938, in Kahoka, MO. She preceded him on September 30, 2012.

He is survived by children, Garry C. (Pat) McNeely, Mary Bufferm, Russell McNeely, Beverly (Dale) Head, Nancy (Bob) Underwood, and Kenneth McNeely; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter-in-law (Gloria) and brother (James).

Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 23, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at the Wise Family Funeral Home Avon, IL.  Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the Funeral.  Burial will be in the Bushnell Cemetery, Bushnell, IL.  In Lieu of flowers memorials may made to the McDonough Dist. Hospital Hospice and/or the Avon Fire Dept./First Responders.  Please sign the online guestbook at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com.  Wise Family Funeral Home Avon is in charge of the arrangements.
