Behavioral Resources Needed at OSF

Share

OSF Holy Family Healthcare are looking to increase their behavioral health resources.

Along with their available counselors, OSF President Jackie Kernan says that OSF is working with their Behavioral Health Manager, Luke Raymond, on education of available resources. OSF also has a Behavioral Health Navigator named Beth Looney who connects and coordinates resources to consumers. In addition, OSF has developed an app called Silver Cloud which is designed to teach techniques on symptoms such as stress.

Kernan shares her view on how OSF can best increase their resources:

“I think in the future it’s going to take partnerships and collaborating with our city leaders together to be able to counteract this problem.”

Kernan says waiting lists for psychatrist appointments are as long as six months.
