Warren County Fair Queen Sydney Killey will be competing in the Miss Illinois County Fair Queen Pageant in Springfield over the Martin Luther King Day weekend.
Sydney is an Animal Science major at the University of Illinois and will be graduating a year early. Sydney is the first triple crown winner in Warren County. Triple Crown winners have to be crowned Little Miss, Junior Miss, and Miss. Sydney was also a Prime Beef Princess as well.
Dineen Killey details Sydney’s itinerary:
“She’ll go down I believe January 16 is the day that she’ll check in at the hotel. She’ll actually do interviews on the 17 and then she’ll do her prelim competition on Saturday and then finals on Sunday.”
The Miss Illinois County Fair Queen Pageant takes place in Springfield. 73 fair queens will be competing in the pageant.
