Mrs. Lois L. Weedman, 92, of Victoria, Illinois died 4:32 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Knox County Nursing Home, Knoxville, Illinois. 

She was born March 14, 1927 in Etherly, Illinois to Archie and Eva (Trotter) Strom.  She married Clarence E. Weedman October 28, 1946 in Huntsville, Missouri.  He preceded her in death July 3, 1983.

Surviving is a son, Bradley (and Lisa) Weedman of Knoxville, two daughters, Nancy (and Gary) Sloan of Victoria and Polly (and Ed) Terpening of Victoria, a daughter in law, Carol Weedman of Victoria, eleven grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Roger “Butch” Weedman, five brothers, four sisters, and two grandchildren, Abbey Weedman and Nils Wexell. 

Lois owned and operated the Hospitality House Restaurant in Victoria for 60 years.  She also owned and operated Weedman Trucking Company in Victoria with her husband.  She was a member of Victoria United Methodist Church.  She was a member and former treasurer for Victoria American Legion Women’s Auxiliary.  Lois loved to cook and spend time with her family.  She was “Grandma” to every kid in Victoria. 

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Service Galesburg Chapel.  Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 15, 2019 at Victoria United Methodist Church.  Rev. Russell Theobald will officiate.  In Lieu of flowers, Memorials in Lois’s name may be made to Victoria United Methodist Church or Maxey Chapel.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com
