Mrs. Patricia Elaine “Pat” Webber, 92, of Galesburg, Illinois passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2019.

Patricia was born January 22, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Harley and Maude (Bushong) Snell. She was lovingly raised by Lavelle and Lucille Bushong. Patricia married Theodore R. “Ted” Webber, Jr. on September 21, 1946 in Galesburg. They shared a life together for 64 years. He preceded her in death on January 14, 2011.

She is survived by her son, Kevin (Pam) Webber of Galesburg and her two daughters, Shelly (Steve) Bray of Monticello, Illinois and Kim (Mike) Allen of Peoria, Illinois; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Patricia also was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Terry Webber and Steve Webber.

Pat lived in Galesburg most of her life. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1945. She stayed home with her five children and blessed her family with devotion throughout her life. Family gatherings were at the top of her favorite things to do. They brought her such joy. Along with her impressive trivia skills, she enjoyed daily crosswordpuzzles, Wheel of Fortune and Family Feud. Her quiet strength, humble spirit and fortitude throughout her life were defining traits. Her witty remarks, giggle and sly facial expressions with those piercing blue eyes brought laughter and smiles. She also was sure to express appreciation to those who helped her, especially as she got older. Her gratitudewas heartwarming. Pat modeled the gifts of hospitality, living simply and being content. She enjoyed volunteering in various capacities such as Galesburg Cottage Hospital and met regularly with the “45ers Club”. Pat was a member of the First United Methodist Church; her favorite hymn was “How Great Thou Art”. She can now sing her praises in heaven.
