Adefioye Earns All-American Honors for Knox Men’s Soccer

KANSAS CITY, Missouri — The United Soccer Coaches announced the 2019 All-America Teams for NCAA Division III men’s soccer on Thursday.

Senior forward and MWC Offensive Player of the Year Adetayo Adefioye was selected Second Team All-American for his efforts on the field this season. He scored 12 goals and added six assists on the season. Adetati scored six game winning goals, good for 12^th in the nation. He really turned it on in conference play as he scored six goals and picked up five assists.

“I’m very happy for Adetayo for being named All-American. He has worked extremely hard for this,” said head coach Brian O’Connor. “This is very well deserved.”

This year’s NCAA Division III All-Americans will be formally acknowledged for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony & Reception on Jan. 18, 2020 at the Baltimore Convention Center in conjunction with the 2020 United Soccer Coaches Convention.
