Canton Police say a man allegedly attempted to abduct a child near the YMCA. Investigators say a 12-year-old boy reported yesterday that an older male pulled up next to him in the area of 13th Avenue and East Ash and told him to get into his vehicle. The boy says the man was wearing a brown coat and brown stocking cap and driving a gray truck. Police are investigating whether this incident is related to a previous abduction attempt several weeks ago in the same area.
