New Building Projects Coming to M-R School District

Share

The Monmouth-Roseville school district is working on new building projects for the junior high and high school.

The Monmouth-Roseville approved bids for a new air conditioning system and a boiler for the junior high school as part of a long term facilities plan. A security vestibule will also be installed at the high school.

Superintendent Ed Fletcher gives details on how the security vestibule will be paid for:

“We approved a life safety amendment because the state came out with school maintenance grant monies. So the board approved me to apply for those monies. What we’re hoping to do is capture up to $50,000 of monies that are available in the grant to help [defer] the cost of the of the security vestibule.”

All schools within the district will have security vestibules installed.
