Shots Fired Incident Leads to Arrest of Two Missing Minors from Mary Davis Home

One adult and two minors have been arrested following a shots fired incidents that happened Thursday December 5th just after 5 pm in Davenport, Iowa. According to kwqc.com, two of the minors were identified as the escapees from the Mary Davis Home in Knox County. All juveniles are now in custody.

Police were called to the area of Locust and Washington Street of shots being fired where they found two scenes with fired cartridges in the 1400 block of West Locust Street.

Officers then searched the area and attempted to stop one minor that ran away, but was captured and detained after a short pursuit. During the preliminary investigation, officers found a discarded gun near one of the scenes before executing a search warrant. During the search, 18 year old Lamonde Ramerus Lathan-Burge of Davenport and another minor were taken into custody. Two guns were also recovered from the scene.

One fifteen year old was charged with 1st degree robbery and interference and Lathan-Burge was charged with 1st degree robbery. Both were taken to the Scott County Jail. The other 15 year old was detained at the Juvenile Detention Center.

No injuries or damage were reported at the scene.
