Beulah M. “Sue” Connell, age 91, of Monmouth, Illinois, passed away at
7:25 PM on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Monmouth Nursing Home in
Monmouth. She was born on August 2, 1928 in Ewing, Missouri, the
daughter of Walter David and Ruby M. (Coleman) Clow. Sue attended school
in Missouri and was a graduate of Palmyra High School. On September 18,
1947, she married James Douglas Connell in Monmouth, Illinois and they
later divorced.

For a time, Sue worked at Genesis Christian Bookstore in Monmouth.
Primarily, she was a homemaker. Sue enjoyed puzzles and crocheting.
Mostly, she loved being with her family. She was a member of the Faith
United Presbyterian Church in Monmouth.

Sue is survived by two daughters; Linda (Jim) Lee of Monmouth, Illinois
and Pamela Ramotharsingh of Chandler, Arizona, three sons; James
(Vickie) Connell of Monmouth, Illinois, Larry (Brenda) Connell of Spring
Lake, Michigan, and Stephen (Amy) Connell of Crystal Lake, Illinois.
Also surviving are her grandchildren; Lara, Paul, Shannon, Shane, Sean,
Matt, and Katy, and eleven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death
by her parents and one son, Dan Connell.

A funeral service for Sue Connell will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday,
January 23, 2020 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois. Her
family will be present for visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the
service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Warren County Memorial
Park. Memorials are being established for OSF Hospice or the Monmouth
