At 5:25 am on Thursday, January 2, 2020, the Galesburg Police Department responded to 772 Ella Street in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, a female subject was found to be the victim of a single gunshot wound. She was stabilized at the scene and later transported to St. Francis Hospital in Peoria for treatment.
