M-R High School Students Able to Earn College Credits

Share

In partnership with Monmouth College, Monmouth-Roseville High School students who academically qualify are able to attend college courses and accrue credits at a reasonable cost. Superintendent Ed Fletcher reports the program coincides with their 1 plus 1 program with Carl Sandburg College:

“You can finish one year of college in high school and finish the other year and only have one year of college costs at the community college. For kids who can do it, and it will be a tough haul, but we also have immersed where you can earn an Associate’s Degree before you graduate high school,” states Fletcher.

Students that qualify for the 1 plus 1 program are able to take those courses free of cost as the Monmouth-Roseville Board of Education picks up the tuition.
