Next Generation Farm Succession Workshop at WHFB

On January 23rd, Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau will be hosting a farm transfer and succession workshop with Mike Downey of Next Gen Ag Advocates and Farm Financial Strategies, Inc. Mike will discuss the why and how of farmland transition, including farm leasing trends and possible strategies for passing your family farm to the next generation. He will also introduce a new program to match young producers to retiring farmers without a successor.

This Thursday event will take place with a 12:00pm meal, with the presentation to follow. There is no cost to attend, but reservations are needed for meal preparation. Call 309-734-9401 or email whfb@whfarmbureau.org to make a reservation; reservations are requested by January 17th.
