Pamela C. Allen, 64, of Monmouth, IL passed away at 5:28 pm, Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at her Home.

She was born at St. Francis Hospital in Macomb, Illinois on February 6, 1955, to John G. Baker and Phyllis (Lewis) Baker.

Pam worked for several years at the Strom Center in Monmouth.  She enjoyed helping people with the paperwork that many elderly people are required to complete. Her many clients loved her dearly. In her spare time, Pam, loved to read Christian based books, crocheting, embroidery, and knitting.  She also enjoyed decorating her home.
Pam’s main love in life was her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  She loved to read her Bible and share her faith with anyone she came in contact with. She was a member of the Rozetta Baptist Church of rural Little York. She loved her church family and especially her Sunday School group. She enjoyed singing praises to the Lord whether it be a solo, a duet, or in a group.

She is survived by her husband Terry L. Allen; her three children, Sarah (Stephen) Figueroa of Carmel, Indiana, Alisa (Junior) Talley of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, and Joseph (Whitney) Woodworth of Salem, Oregon; and four step-children.  She is also survived by her Mother, Phyllis Baker; a sister, Cindy (John) Pool of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; and three brothers, Ross (Carla) Baker, John (Cindy) Baker of Wimberly, Texas, and Samuel (Joy) Baker of Monmouth, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her father John G. Baker and one step-son.

Pam’s family would like to thank Joan Cupps for her devoted care of their sister. She was a true blessing to Pam as well as the rest of the family.  Her family would also like to thank hospice for their love, care, and respect shown during her time of transition to her eternal home with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Memorial Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 4, 2019 at Rozetta Baptist Church, Rozetta, IL.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Sam Baker 320 South B Street, Monmouth, Illinois 61462, to help cover expenses.  McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL, is in charge of the arrangements.  For more information please visit, www.mcguireanddaviesfuneralhome.com
