Ruby Faye (Main) Johnson, 86, of Galesburg, passed away January 12, 2020, in Galesburg.

She was born March 8, 1933 in Atlanta, Missouri to Daisy Mae (Dennis) and Floyd Earl Main.

She attended school in Atlanta, Missouri, where she was active in all sports and played in the band. Ruby loved dancing, bowling, bingo, and cards.

She was a waitress for many years at numerous restaurants, starting out at Steak-n-Shake and then the Grandview for over 20 years and the Holiday Inn. She was very active in P.T.A. and taught bible school and Sunday school for many years.

On December 11, 1954, she married Paul Eugene Reischling of Monmouth. From this marriage two girls were born, Dee Ann (Jimmie) Gill and Renada Kay Young. She was also blessed with a step-son, Steven M. Reischling (deceased). She had three grandchildren, Jenny Marie Babcock, Sean Paul Young, and Brandon Joseph Gill, as well as three great grandchildren, Angela, Tyler, and Hudson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Floyd, Jerry, and Jimmy; and two sisters, Leola and Freda. She is also survived by one brother, Garvin (Lil) Main of Knoxville, Illinois.

Visitation will be noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
