David L. Fengel, 68, of Monmouth, IL, passed away at 3:25 am, Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the Aperion Care Center Moline, in East Moline, IL
He was born September 18, 1951 in Macomb, IL, the son of Robert and Dorothy (Wolf) Fengel. David was raised and educated in Roseville and attended Roseville High School.
David served in the United States Army in Germany from 1970-1972.
He married Judith Bethell on June 29, 1974 in Monmouth, IL.
David worked for FS for a few years as a truck driver. He then worked at Farmland in Monmouth for over 20 years. David loved bowling and belonged to several leagues in the area. He
enjoyed boating, fishing, and camping.
Surviving David are his children, Abby Fengel-Burton and Zach (Traci) Fengel both of Monmouth, IL. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Aryanna, Kalie, Eli, Nevaeh, Zander, and Angel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, David Michael Fengel, and sister, Beverly Raymond.
Cremation rites have been accorded. No visitation or services are planned at this time. Burial of the ashes will be in Monmouth Cemetery at a later date.
