M-R Girls Start Their Regional Journey Tonight

Share

The Monmouth-Roseville Titans Girls basketball team start their regional matchup tonight against West Hancock and are firing on all cylinders.

After an impressive win against Macomb last Thursday and an overall record of 23-7, nearly breaking the school’s wins record, The Titan girls are looking to go deep into Regionals.

However, Monmouth-Roseville Athletic Director Jeremy Adolphson says winning this year’s Regional playoff will not be an easy task.

“Tough Regional. In our area looking at it, with Illini West is the one seed and in our area there’s a lot of really good girls teams. So you’re not going to be handed a Regional title. There’s no easy regional titles in the Sectional comp we’re in.”

You can catch the action on AM1330/FM94.1 WRAM tonight. The pregame show starts at 7:15. Tip-off is at 7:30.
