It’s time to start thinking about getting compliance reviews turned into the USDA office for highly erodible lands to reduce soil loss in the area and protect wetlands. District Conservationist Cathy Froelich states it is important to review those plans:

“Make sure what you are doing. If you see any gullies out there, any ditches, get them seeded down. That is part of the review process. Just kind of pay attention, we are getting into that time of year again,” Froelich reports.

To schedule an appointment, contact the USDA office at 734-9308.
