Security Personnel Needed in Warren County

Share

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office are looking for security personnel for the county courthouse.

Warren County Sheriff Martin Edwards says the guard-inmate ratio fluctuates but the average inmate population has leveled off.

“When we had to close, talk about the perfect storm. We had 30 inmates and no jailers. Then one day you’d have 10 jailers and six inmates. It’s kind of disconcerting how this goes up and down. We’ve leveled out at about 16 images so that’s about average.”

According to Sheriff Edwards, female inmates are still being held in Mercer County.
