Whitsitt Receives ILMEA Administrator of the Year

The Illinois Music Education Association promotes universal access to comprehensive music education, delivers professional development for educators, and provides outstanding musical experience for all Illinois learners facilitated by licensed music educators. During the annual conference held in Peoria, United Superintendent Jeff Whitsitt was a recipient of the 2020 Illinois Administrator of the Year Award. This award is given annually to a school administrator who supports his or her music program in a manner only possible as an administrator and shows encouragement and promotion of music education within Illinois.
