We have broken that down from kindergarten to fifth, middle school sixth to eighth, and then the high school. We also have a Young Blood Award, which shows promise in the arts field. Then we also have best use of medium: oil, clay, painting, drawing, pencil, we have a variety. Then we have some individual awards that honor area individuals who have sponsored, shaped, and impacted the arts in some way. We have the Cathy Lo Arthur awards for Junior High Students, the Lynn Finch award for elementary students, the Susan Twomey award for the most unique outstanding piece of artwork in a sea of artwork, as well as the John Ohler award, a new drawing award this year,” says Gilbert.
