With consideration to and in precaution of the COVID-19 pandemic, all Carl Sandburg College campuses will be closed March 16-22.

During that time, all classes and College activities, including home and away athletic events, will not take place.

Starting March 23, as much lecture material as possible will take place online until further notice. All labs and clinical sessions will take place with social distancing encouraged and additional handwashing measures in place.

“While there are no confirmed or probable cases confirmed in our district or on the campuses of Carl Sandburg College, it is my intention to do everything we can to mitigate the risk of spreading infection for all our staff, faculty, students and greater community,” President Dr. Seamus Reilly said. “We have been and will continue to closely monitor this situation in cooperation with our local authorities.”

Additional updates will be posted on the College’s website and social media channels, including Facebook and Twitter, as they arise.
