Charles Henderson Woods, 91, of Knoxville, died peacefully at home on Friday March 27, 2020 at 5:45 a.m.

Charles was born May 1, 1928 in Galesburg, the son of Ralph Tobias and Evelee (Borrell) Woods.  He married Lois Ann Wilkins on July 7, 1947 in Galesburg.  She preceded  him in death in 1991.  Charles is survived by three sons, Frank Woods of Galesburg, George Woods of Oneida, and Jim Woods of Galesburg; four grandchildren, Matt and Dan Woods, Charles Woods, and Angela Gacy; and eleven great grandchildren.  Charles is also survived by one brother, Robert Woods of Wayne City, IL and Fayrene Monzo of Galesburg.  

Charles worked at Admiral for many years, retiring in 1976.

Cremation will be accorded.  Private family graveside services will be held at Maquon Cemetery, Maquon,  IL. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Charles H. Woods, please visit our Tribute Store.
