Per Illinois Governor Pritzker’s shelter in place order, all non-essential businesses are to stop operation through April, 7th to hinder the spread of the coronavirus. Closing brings great concerns to businesses. Randy Frese, 94th District of the Illinois House of Representative, says there is relief with small business loans:
“Whenever cash flow is interrupted in a business that can get devastating. Small business loans are already being made available. Is there going to be more that comes down the pipe later, yes there will be. I know the federal government between the House and the Senate out in Washington, D.C. are discussing and perhaps fighting over what level of the next round of relief is going to be for individuals and businesses. Certainly we want to make sure everybody, not only physically healthy, but we want to keep them financially healthy as well throughout this whole ordeal,” Frese states.
The State of Illinois has set up a hotline for businesses to call with questions, 1-800-252-2923.
