Western Illinois Animal Rescue is holding their Furry Friends Fundraiser at the Monmouth VFW on Saturday, March 14th from 4 to 10 pm. Glenda Ehlen shares how the proceeds help the organization:

“It helps us support our animals and the rescue since we rely strictly on fundraising and volunteers out there. No one is paid, we all do it just because we love our animals,” Ehlen says.

The evening will consist of a silent auction, live music, raffles, stand-up comedy, face painting for the kids, and a bake sale.
