Galesburg Police Department Friday March 13, 2020 2:39 pm On Thursday March 12th 2020. The Galesburg Police Department, Knox County Sheriff’s Department and the Knoxville Police Department conducted a joint investigation into the illegal sales and trafficking of Cannabis and Controlled Substances. In a response to numerous complaints of suspected drug activity, an investigation was opened resulting in a search warrant being obtained for the residence of 206 West Grove Street Knoxville, Illinois. At approximately 3:45 pm March 12th, members of the Galesburg Police Special Response Team, Knox County Sheriff’s Department and Knoxville Police Department executed the search warrant at 206 West Grove Street Knoxville, Illinois. The search warrant resulted in the seizure of approximately seven pounds of cannabis, 100 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, two firearms and an undisclosed amount of United States Currency. The investigation has led to arrest warrants being issued for the following subjects. Thomas Mitchell Swing 18 years old 206 W. Grove Street Knoxville, Illinois Charges: Armed Violence, Manufacture/Delivery Cannabis, Unlawful Cannabis Trafficking, Unlawful Possession Cannabis Knox County Warrant issued on 3/13/2020 in the amount of $500,000.00 . Cade W. Nuss 18 years old 75 Lincoln Street Knoxville, Illinois Charges: Armed Violence, Unlawful Possession Cannabis Knox County Warrant issued on 3/13/2020 in the amount of $100,000.00
