Kevin James Cunningham, 55, of Galesburg, died at 3:15 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2020 at OSF Holy Family Medical Center, Monmouth.

Kevin was born October 25, 1964 in Galesburg, the son of James Henry Range and Ola Mae (Coleman) Cunningham.  Kevin married Juanita Miller on May 17, 1995 in Galesburg.  She survives as do three daughters, Devonna Locklear of Galesburg, Ashley Cunningham of Austin, TX, and Jasmine Cunningham of Galesburg; and two grandsons, Josiah Wilder and Dakarai Cunningham.  Kevin is also survived by six brothers, Curtis (Donna) Cunningham of Galesburg, Jeffery (Kimberly) Cunningham of Springfield, MO, Kenny (Rachel) Cunningham of East Dubuque, IL, Keith (Raylynn) Cunningham, of Galesburg, Jimmy (Jessica) Range of Jacksonville, FL, and Joey (Sharla) Range of Galesburg; and three sisters, Dena (Roderic) Woods, Teresa (Larry) Howell, and Kathy (Randy) Cunningham all of Galesburg.  Kevin was preceded in death by his father, James Range; mother, Ola Mae Cunningham; and one brother, DeWayne Cunningham. 

Kevin had been a dedicated employee at Bruce Foote Chevrolet in Monmouth for over 32 years.  He enjoyed being outdoors, especially spending time fishing, tending to his yard and garden, as well as grilling out for his family and friends.

Due to social distancing limitations related to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no formal visitation, however friends and family may pay their respects from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Private family funeral services will be held.  Pastor Jon Baker, Sr., will officiate.  The funeral service will be streamed at  https://www.facebook.com/Watson-Thomas-Funeral-Home-and-Crematory-168719211966/.  A public celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family.  Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com.
