Warren County Courthouse Limiting Access, Still Open for Business

The Warren County Courthouse is following suit in taking added precautions during these unprecedented times and is reducing access into the Courthouse. Residents are encouraged to call ahead if business is needed completed at the Courthouse. Certain court actions have been postponed. Sheriff Martin Edwards has more:

“Right now it is just essentially the felony cases that we are holding onto right now with people in the jail here. Any orders of protection, those are still going to be heard. Petitions for emergency orders of protection, things like that are still going to occur. Again, call the Circuit Clerk’s office to discuss that with them. We are certainly not going to shut off things like that. Misdemeanor cases, pay reviews, people on probation that were going to meet with their officer, all of that has been postponed and delayed,” states Sheriff Edwards.

Sheriff Edwards goes on to say fines and fees to the Circuit Clerk still need to be paid each month to prevent any Failure to Pays to deal with.
