Bruce Chisholm, age 87, of Galesburg, Illinois died at 11:32 A.M. on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at the Marigold Rehab and Health Care Center in Galesburg, Illinois.

Bruce was born on December 20, 1932 in Quincy Illinois the daughter of Charles F. and Margaret (Hudson) Chisholm. He served in the United State Air Force from 1952 to 1956. He married Beverly Webber in 1958, then he married Lois Crane on November 14, 1990 in Galesburg, Illinois.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Chisholm of Galesburg, Illinois; five daughters: Lori S. (Rande) Sanderbeck of Bradenton, Florida, Patricia L. (Shawn) Rock of Galesburg, Illinois, Beth A. Price of Fletcher, North Carolina, Jessica L. Murray of Springfield, Illinois, Rachael L. (Omar) El Shami of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania; Six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one great granddaughter.

He worked for Meadow Gold Dairy in Galesburg, Illinois for sixteen years, Wagoner Printing Co. in Galesburg, Illinois, and was the Food & Beverage Manager for the Holiday Inn in Illinois and New Mexico. He enjoyed golfing. He loved his dog, Peanut and his family.

Cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to OSF Hospice or to Guardian Angels Humane Society, and may be sent to the family or Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory, 120 South Public Square, Knoxville, Illinois. 61448.  Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home & Crematory in Knoxville is assisting the family with their wishes.
