Clara M. Price, age 71, of Little York, Illinois, passed away at 5:20 PM
on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at her residence. She was born on December 27,
1948 in Monmouth, Illinois, the daughter of Chester and Katie (Philpott)
Hathaway. Clara attended school in Kirkwood and attended Monmouth High School. On November 5, 1966, Clara married John James Price in the
Kirkwood Methodist Church and he preceded her in death on February 9,
1992. Clara was a homemaker and enjoyed puzzle books, collecting Mickey
Mouse, and watching Western’s on television. She loved her dog Sammy.

Clara is survived by on daughter, Katie (Robert) Werremeyer of Moscow,
Iowa, three sons; John Price, Jr. of Monmouth, Illinois, Kenny
(Jeanette) Price of Mississippi, and Chester (Virginia) Price also of
Mississippi, grandchildren; Michael, Brittany, Lindsay, Steven, Trinity,
Brandy, David, and Jessica, four great-grandchildren, two sisters;
Geraldine Hathaway and Margaret Lybarger, and two brothers; Kenny
Hathaway and Alan (Evelyn) Hathaway. She is also survived by her
longtime companion, Bobby Wilson. Clara is preceded in death by her
parents and her husband.

As were Clara’s wishes, cremation is being accorded. No services are
planned. A memorial is being established to assist the family. For more
