FAREWAY SUPPORTS SMALL BUSINESSES BY PROVIDING DONATIONS TO LOCAL CHAMBERS

Share

Fareway Stores, Inc. today announced that it will be providing donations to local chamber of commerce affiliates in each of the communities Fareway serves in Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, and South Dakota. Gift cards totaling $1,000 will be provided to help small businesses and their employees facing challenges during this unprecedented time.

“Local chambers have the pulse in each community and how best to serve its small business members during this time of need,” said Fareway President and CEO Reynolds W. Cramer. “We hope this relief reduces some of the stress our community business partners are facing.”

Each Fareway store will work with its local chamber of commerce over the next few days to provide gift cards for distribution to small business owners in need. Follow the movement on Facebook with #FarewayShopsLocal.
