Harold W. Myler, Sr., 90, of Galesburg, IL, passed away at 7:03 a.m., Monday, April 20, 2020 at Seminary Manor, Galesburg, IL. 

He was born on July 10, 1929 in Indianola, IA, the son of Will and Nannie (Swartz) Myler.  Harold was raised and educated in Galesburg, IL and graduated from Galesburg High School in 1947. 

Harold married Agnes Engle on September 13, 1952; she preceded him in death on June 29, 2009.

Harold worked at Maytag in Galesburg, IL for over 30 years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. 

Surviving Harold are two sons, Harold “Buddy” (Angie) Myler of Galesburg, IL, Ron (Lisa) Myler of Monmouth, IL; one daughter, Debbie (Bill) Beardsley of Knoxville, IL; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Myler of Auburn, GA; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Agnes Myler; one son, Tom Myler; two brothers, and one sister. 

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Interment of his ashes will be at a later date in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Galesburg, IL.  McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
