The ten-part documentary about Michael Jordan and the 90’s Bulls is already a ratings winner for ESPN.  The sports network said the premiere episodes of “The Last Dance” that debuted Sunday night were its most-viewed documentary content ever.  The episodes averaged 6.1 million viewers across ESPN and ESPN2.  The docuseries also garnered big numbers locally.  ESPN and ESPN2 combined for a 12.6 household rating in the Chicago market for Episode 1, which represents just over 410-thousand homes.  Episode 2 slipped to 11.7.
