Stanley Bridge, 77, of Decatur, IL., formerly of Roseville, IL., went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 13, 2020, 1:30 a.m. at the Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL.  He was born Monday, July 20, 1942, in Moline, IL., the son of Frank and Ellen (Ubenhuffner) Bridge.  He married Marilyn Scott on November 17, 1962, she preceded him in death.

Stanley is survived by his five children, Patricia (Darwin) Allen of Lincoln, Steven (Kristine) Bridge of Latonia, KY, Timothy (Amber) Bridge of Monmouth, Dustin (Lesley) Bridge, of New Holland, Jessica (Justin) Brownfield of Forsyth; 11 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.  He is also survived by his sister JoAnn and His brother Frank.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years and both of his parents.

Stanley attended Monmouth High School and after marriage, worked at Farmland Foods in Monmouth for 35 plus years, until he retired in 2007.  Stanley was an incredible father, grandfather, husband, friend and a man of God.  He was adored and respected by his family and friends.

Due to social distancing limitations related to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no visitation.  A private family graveside is planned for Thursday, April 16, 2020 at the Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Treasure’s Adoption at Decatur First Church of the Nazarine.  Please sign the online guestbook at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com.  Wise Family Funeral Home Roseville is in charge of the arrangements.
